I loved the look of this guitar, but the neck was completely broken off
when I found this beauty. I glued the neck back on. The colors around
the opening were too pretty to cut apart, so I decided to insert a box
into the guitar. I used both pine and ash to create the box. The box
seemed too plain, so I added a border. The lower corners slightly extend
over the curve of the guitar, but I liked it that way, so I left it.
The box and trim was stained with a dark walnut to match the guitar
neck.
