Quilted Backpack

I love this little back pack. I did one in black thread and the rest in white. (6 in total.) I was going to do them with my scouts, but my 3 scouts all moved, so I made them anyway. It is quilted and has a velcro pocket on the front. The top has a toggle tie and string closure. and a button flap to cover it.

St. Paul to the Corinthians is the perfect wedding sampler verse. This was stitched on a tan Aida cloth. I bought this kit many years ago and stitched it in 2009, I think.

Praying Hands Cross Stitch

I finished this in 2011. I'm hoping to frame it and considering donating it to the church to display or auction.

This is stitched on 14 count white Aida. I colored the pattern as the pattern was so hard to read. There are 9 shades of green in this.

The Lord's Prayer Cross Stitch

I bought a book with this pattern. I stitched it in 1999 but have not gotten around to framing it. It is stitched on a cream 14 Count Aida fabric.

Wolf Cross Stitch

This wolf was stitched on a 14 count Aida Fabric. I need to buy an 8" x 10" Frame to put it in for my wolf loving daughter, Ashlin. I actually stitched this in July 2012 while camping. I misplaced it and just found it today.

Rose Garden Cross Stitch

This pattern is called Rose Garden and is by Bucilla. I bought the kit several years ago and just finished it this fall, 2012. It is stitched on 14 count white Aida fabric. It is 9" x "12 framed without a mat and 13" x 16" with a mat. I haven't decided if I will mat it or not.

The Back
This pattern had an option for a wedding sampler in the center, but I liked the rose instead. It makes it more versatile.

Angel Dolls

I found a pattern in a book and made about 10 of these angels. I hadn't done much with tiny turns while sewing, so this was an experience. I added the wire to the wings to hang them. The face and the feet were painted.

Bear Baby Quilt-- Cross Stitch

This is one quilt I made a few years ago. It is hard not going through the back of it as it is pre-quilted. I wasn't happy with the quality of the quilting as it started coming out, I'm trying to figure out how to remedy that.

Reading Baby Quilt Cross Stitch

This was actually given to me to do. I finished it before my daughter was born, but I had a Noah's Ark quilt I had made for her, so that is what she got.  I had always planned to give this to my next one, but as I'm not having another one, this will go to my cousin's baby when he or she is born this summer.

These quilts are difficult to stitch as you must be careful not to go through the back of the quilt due to it being prequilted. These take 2-3 months for me to make.

Baby Bibs-- Cross Stitch

These are my final 2 bibs in my stash. They are stitched on pre-purchased bibs. I don't know how many I had made of these. They sold quickly, especially the ones that slipped over the head (not pictured here).
