Painting Stripes

 This room is going to be Ashlin's new room. The walls are covered in Paneling. There was no closet, so Tom and I built the closet and added the bookshelf on the outside wall. Ashlin wanted an all black room....I said NO. Then she wanted an all fluorescent green room....again...NO! This was my compromise! A White room with black and green stripes. using the paneling as a guide.

This will be the vanity nook area where we built the shelves.

Loved using the grooves in the door to add even more black and green dimension.

A lot of very bright stripes!

The corners are not quite finished as we have molding to install, but we want to get the carpet installed and the ceiling finished before the molding goes in.

Note: Thanks to Tom for being my taper for all these stripes. It took over 3 rolls of blue 3M tape. Good thing we were given so much of it at the Nascar Races in Louden, NH, this past summer. We even had Greg Biffle (3M's Driver), Car 16, to sign our cars we won.
