Cabinet: Oil Painting--Hunter

This Oil Painting we found at a garage sale of an ex-antique dealer. I thought it stunning craftsmanship. The painting must have had slight water damage on the back at sometime, but does not affect the front at all. The frame is natural to the painting. The painting is unsigned.

Tom made a cabinet box to attach the the painting for storage. He stained the box a Dark Walnut. There are 2 non-adjustable shelves and a green velvet lining on the inside back.

Measurements:
Frame: 24" Wide by 28 1/2" Tall
Box: 21" Wide by 24 1/2" Tall

Shelf Height:
  • Top 6 1/2"
  • Middle 6 3/8"
  • Bottom 9"
~Sarah (and Tom)

Slight water damage to the back, but not the front.

Closed with a simple hook and eye latch

2 non-adjustable shelves
Silver hinges this time.
