Baby Quilt Update: Reading Baby Quilt Cross Stitch

I finally got around to finishing this baby quilt. If you remember, I had finished the stitching and decided to add a backing fabric and a border.



 These are the previous  pictures!

 
I added a medium to dark blue binding fabric and a yellow backing fabric that matches the bunny's shirt. I tied it with a dark blue that matches the binding.

 It is now ready to be sent to the new baby to be. FYI...It's a boy!

One of my really close friends and I decided to write a story since she loves to write and I love to draw. So once we decided on a topic (my favorite animal) I began drawing for the book.

I really like these bookmarks. I made probably 30 of them years ago and these are my final 3 that were not purchased or given as gifts. They are stitched on pre-sewn bookmarks.
