Filler: My First Quilt: Young Adult literature Final Project "Survival Quilt" 1999

 This is another filler blog.

My first quilt I ever made ended up being a queen size quilt.

Each square was a picture of an item or idea from the young adult literature book I read that helped the main character survive. I called it my "Survival  Quilt". This is why the dominant color is black.

I added a book plate to each square. I read over 36 books to make this quilt and a few pillows to match. Obviously, I got a 4.0 in this college course.

My favorite squares were the bike and the pig.
