~ Sarah (and Tom)
A weekly art/craft project by Ashlin, Sarah or Both. We wanted to challenge ourselves to be creative and try to expand our skills. We'd love to have some feedback and suggestions for improvement, so please leave a comment when you visit. Thanks! A few posts will be Tom's handy work, but Ashlin or I will be writing it up for him as he doesn't like to write.

Tom's 2nd Cabinet
I bought this glass at a garage sale to use in a box, but Tom confiscated it first. He wanted to build a display cabinet and did a great job. We kind of talked out the planning together and he went and did it. He had a problem with the holes for the shelves as he put one side together upside down and had to drill additional shelves and touch up the stain in order to level the shelves out. He stained it in a dark walnut. He originally finished 3 shelves for it and we decided a 4th one was warranted. The cabinet is 50.75 inches tall and 20.5 inches wide. The shelves are 4 inches deep. It has adjustable shelves. He added the brass corner pieces and 2 magnets and a hook for closure purposes.
