Quilted Pot Holders Galore
Along with my Hot Oven Mitts, I have been stitching like crazy making Quilted Pot Holders.
Each pot holder is quilted from various strips of fabric that I had left over from making my spider web quilt. They have
Insul-Bright (which is an insulated heat protecting batting), regular batting (to absorb moisture that can be given off from the heat), and a solid colored white or cream cotton backing.
They measure about 8 inches square. The pot holders are durable and machine washable. They should not be used in a microwave as Insul-Bright has a metal lining which gives it the heat resistance.
